Rita Aoun-Abdo
Art and Cultural Advisor of the Abu Dhabi Tourism Development & Investment Company

Rita Aoun-Abdo is working for the Saadiyat Island Cultural District projects and responsible for the development of artistic and cultural activities and events.
She works closely with the different operators of the Cultural District institutions on the content, the strategy and the operational side in order to adapt the international expertise to Abu Dhabi needs. She is in charge of organizing art fairs, temporary exhibitions, training sessions, art educational courses and artistic events in order to ensure long term sustainability to the urban development conducted by TDIC and to help in implementing the artistic identity of Abu Dhabi.

Rita has been working for many years in the cultural, educational and arts fields conducting verbal and non-verbal communications workshops and seminars, organizing artistic events, directing theatre plays and participating in international performing arts festivals.
She has worked in Beyrouth, France and UAE with government bodies such as the "National Center of Research and Pedagogy", the "Ministry of Education", the "Ministry of Culture", the "French Embassy" and the "National Theatre".
