Saadiyat Island is a $ 27 billion complex which will include 29 luxury hotels, a huge park for a biennial arts festival, as well as branches of many of the world's most illustrious museum and academies - including the Guggenheim, the Louvre and Sorbonne, all designed by the biggest names in architecture among whom Frank Gehry, Zaha Hadid and Jean Nouvel.
